First off, let me just say that this is probably the best mobile flight sim I’ve ever played. I’ve always wanted to be a pilot in this game has taught me so much. The controls are very fun to use, and I like how the game takes time to teach you how to deal with different things from engine failure to extreme weather. If you months ago, I was playing the game and it crashed and when I went back in it reset all my progress. I was kind of upset and took a break for a few months and recently re-download it it’s starting all over again. I also recently found out that there is a way to do a full flight where you get the fly the plane through all of the way points. The problem I have with this however is that you cannot fast forward when you’re doing this, and it is pretty rare to get them. I have only been able to do one in my three years of playing this game. I see that there is a coming soon thing in the game and maybe this is a free flight system, but if it’s not, you might want to think adding one. And if you don’t do this, maybe you can make an entire game just based on flying through differently points to your destination, while you’re able to pick the time, routes, what plane, and add a time Lapps system so if you’re doing a 16 hour flight, you can time laps it by 16, so the flight will only be an hour. Anyway, I would love it if you guys could either make a thing in this game or make a whole new game where there is a good free flight system with this game controls and elements.

For years I’ve flown simulators and have idolized many pilots I have come across and have brought home lessons and values to fly for myself. This game has a great amount of potential to become the #1 simulator on the Apple app store, however there are some setbacks. Some features such as ATC speaking with you is an upside and what makes this game very realistic, however it will need work. By work I mean the Air Traffic will need to be revamped with real time audio, weather briefs, patterns, etc. I wouldn’t mind paying $5-$10 for this game if it acquired the amount of realism a true simulator in like the American Airlines training facility has. And yes of course the game would be a paid game, in which I’d actually pay for. Of course the game appeals to all ages, however you have professionals also flying this simulator. Now with the different modes, the basic mode should appeal for easy flying while the simulation mode should appeal more for actual pilots. One of the drawbacks that angered me was the physics of the aircraft. When an aircraft starts to roll down a runway, they have their flaps, slats and spoilers set to usually position 1 for takeoff, however this simulator tells you to retract the flaps when taking off to reach your designated height. Realistically your aircraft would not be able to retain its lift, thus crashing (Spain Air 5022 is an example). I appreciate how this app functions with the different licenses and routes, but I’d like to fly the routes entirely even though a flight from Heathrow to JFK takes approx 7 hours.
Good, not great.

Overall this is very fun to play. The flight physics are decent, I like the premise of the game, the graphics aren’t bad, and the realism is adequate... not perfect but adequate. I keep coming back for more every day, but I would like to see a few future changes. The game is very very bossy. I hate that there is no sandbox/free flight mode, not even one you could buy - I would pay a reasonable sum of money ($20 or so) to have open unlimited access to just fly, and probably pay another $20 to unlock everything, all planes. I’ve done over 300 landings and every time I land it still says “use the brakes to reduce the speed on the runway.” GEE, YOU THINK? Take off the training wheels. I’ve also experienced more rudder failures than I think have taken place in the entire history of aviation... not just commercial aviation - ALL aviation. The failures add a fun element but at the same time there have been just incidents of all engines failing on a commercial aircraft in modern aviation (not including fuel starvation) - I swear I’ve had that many in just a day in this game.It doesn’t even make sense that you can’t view your achievements or achievement progress unless you have earned one. You can’t slide the level or progress bar around to see what airports are coming up.
Bad progression system

I got this game only some days ago. My first few hours of playtime I was impressed with the gameplay and physics. Flying is very fun and satisfying. The problem I’m having now is an inability to progress. Your main source of money is through opening routes. You can only open so many routes without buying a new license or plane. Normally this would be annoying, but still tolerable. What is really making me frustrated is that the licenses are locked behind your level. I can’t make more routes without getting a license, I can’t get a license without leveling up, and I can’t level up without opening more routes. The only thing I can possibly do now is buy a new plane, which costs more than 70k. So I’m stuck sending pilots on routes I’ve already opened and waiting 3 HOURS for a pathetic 1-2k so I can save up for a new plane. There is a new event daily, but the only way to progress past the first 1 or 2 tiers of rewards is by spending even more money. So unless I do spend money or watch more than 50 ads (that’s not an exaggeration), this is the ONLY SOURCE OF GAMEPLAY other than events, which is usually only around 15 mins a day.As many comments suggest, a free play option could help significantly, even if it had limited time per day. I suggest adding either additional ways to level up or unblocking licenses or, even better, making more ways to fly and make money. A way to refill over time instead of spending credits in events would be extremely appreciated as well. It’s likely if this becomes a trend after this point in the game I will give up and just delete it. There’s so much potential here, it was just so poorly thought out for FTP players.
